CASE STUDY: The Power of the Team

I. The Brief

Our team was commissioned to design and execute a high-impact incentive program for Generali, one of the world’s leading insurance providers. The project required hosting two back-to-back groups of approximately 147 participants each (nearly 300 guests in total). The objective was to strengthen the “power of the individual” following a corporate restructuring, rewarding the best salespeople and their partners with a program that felt exclusive, authentic, and entirely removed from the typical tourist experience.

II. The Creative Concept: “Ancient Echoes & Modern Strength”

Drawing on the theme “The power of the individual is the strength of the team!”, we grounded the program in the legendary birthplace of Aphrodite. We blended high-end modern luxury at the Almyra Hotel with dramatic, classical storytelling. The concept moved from a traditional “Laiko Paniyiri” (village fair) welcome to a high-protocol Gala at the Sanctuary of Aphrodite, emphasizing individual achievement within a grand historical setting.

III. The Execution


Day 1: The Mediterranean Welcome

• Arrival: Guests were greeted at the airport with rosewater by hostesses in traditional togas.
• Welcome Event: A “Laiko Paniyiri” dinner was held on the Almyra seafront, featuring local musicians, traditional dancers, and a rich buffet of Cypriot delicacies to ground the guests in local culture.

Day 2: Coastal Luxury & The Aphrodite Gala

• Daytime: A private cruise aboard the Ocean Flyer yacht offered a morning of swimming, snorkeling, and open-bar relaxation in the Mediterranean.
• The Gala at Kouklia: The pinnacle of the program was held at the Medieval Manor of Kouklia.
o The Entrance: A dramatic procession of 12 drummers and Aphrodite hostesses carrying torches and olive branches led guests into the ancient courtyard.
o Awards & Performance: Hosted by celebrity moderator Eve Scheer, the evening featured an awards ceremony interspersed with performances. International singer Francesca Urio performed a powerful set, beginning with a ballad from the museum’s balcony before moving to the main stage to join the live band.

Day 3: Authentic Immersion & Beach Celebration

• Expedition to Omodos: A fleet of 4×4 Jeeps transported the group to the picturesque village of Omodos. Guests participated in hands-on demonstrations of arkatena bread-making and shushukos production, followed by wine tasting at a traditional linos.
• Beach Party: The program concluded with a high-energy Beach ‘n Barbecue at SODAP Beach. The night featured a custom-built beach lounge setup, a live DJ, and an open bar under the stars.

IV. Technical & Logistical Edge

• Bespoke Production: We transformed the Sanctuary of Aphrodite into a world-class venue, installing a comprehensive AV suite including architectural lighting, a professional stage set, and high-spec sound systems for the international music acts.
• Complex Logistics: Managing back-to-back groups required military-style precision. We coordinated over 10 buses and a fleet of Jeeps daily, ensuring seamless transitions as Group 1 departed while Group 2 arrived at the hotel.
• Custom Branding: Every guest received personalized welcome packs and custom-produced gifts, including laser-etched wine boxes and locally made soaps in branded canvas bags, emphasizing the individual focus of the brief.

V. The Results

• Scale: 294 VIP Guests across two back-to-back waves.
• Satisfaction: A 92% guest success rate reported by the agency.
• Client Feedback: The agency praised the “can-do” attitude and the flawless execution of the complex dramaturgy, noting that participants had an “amazing time”
