Great Outdoor Activities in Cyprus

Published on July 15, 2020

Get to explore the sea, the mountains and Cyprus’ natural landscapes. With its year round sunshine, Cyprus is the perfect playground for outdoor activities throughout the year. Here’s some of the most popular:

  1. Private Cruise

Sail along the coast line with one of our handpicked yachts and catamarans, while taking in the view and breath-taking scenery. Swimming, fishing, snorkelling, canoeing or just relaxing on board, treat yourself to the ultimate in relaxation and fun with an experienced crew who are both friendly and professional while always on hand to make the trip a wonderful experience. Enjoy the open bar on board and the tasty menu.

  1. Explore Akamas Peninsula with Buggies and Quads

Bring your camera and swimsuit for a full day adventure to Cyprus’ crown jewel, the Akamas Peninsula. Akamas is a natural reserve area boasting unique and diverse flora and fauna surrounded by the warm Mediterranean Sea. We aim to discover the region with the least impact on the environment and ensure that you take away memories of its beautiful scenery and enjoy its crystal clear waters. A day in Akamas would be incomplete without a swimming stop at Lara Bay, an important breeding ground of the protected Mediterranean Loggerhead Turtle, the Blue Lagoon and the Baths of Aphrodite

  1. Jeep Safari at the heart of Cyprus

The excursion will take us to rural Cyprus, where hospitality is legendary. More than just a friendly smile and ‘Yia sou’; visitors will experience the warm and loving nature of traditional Cyprus! Our scenic route will take us through beautiful nature and traditional villages on board our 4×4 Land Rover Defenders. Passing through the rural landscape, we go off road for a short while and reach Tzelefos Bridge, where our guests can enjoy a short coffee break, before continuing to Omodos village. On arrival to Omodos, the group will follow different activities on rotation. From wine tasting, to shopping, and even baking halloumi pies at the local bakery.

  1. CSR – Beach and Forest Clean-up

Cyprus has long and beautiful coastlines. In fact, Cyprus has more Blue Flag beaches per mile than any other European destination. Unfortunately, like in the rest of the world, the use of plastic and micro plastics frequently make their way to our beaches. Thankfully, the Cyprus forestry department and local authorities as well as information campaigns help keep our beaches clean. Let’s give them a helping hand and help nature recover faster! To make a great day out of it, drinks, snacks or a casual BBQ may be arranged once all the hard work is done!
